Below some news about the Egyptian protests, this Jawa Report post reprints Sandmonkey’s post “Egypt, right now”. Sandmonkey is the pseudonym of a secular Egyptian who blogs in English.
After writing this post, Sandmonkey was arrested as he was transporting medical supplies to the protests. He was beaten and eventually released. It seems likely that the regime scum had been keeping track of him. I guess when the nation is in revolt, tracking down and beating popular bloggers is a high priority. At least it is when you’re a cop working for a dictator with a brain-eating parasite. The post is well worth a read.
